Black Satellites begin camping

The national Under-20 team, the Black Satellites will on Wednesday, February 8, commence preparations towards the qualifiers of the Africa Youth Championship in Algeria next year, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, Prampram in the Dangbe West District of the Greater Accra Region.

The technical team in a release copied to GNA Sports said it has therefore invited 30 players for the qualifiers, which commences in April, and ends in October 2012.

The list includes, goalkeepers – Muntari Tagoe (Medeama) and Felix Annan (Asante Kotoko) with Thomas Boakye (Right to Dream), Abdul Rahman (Asante Kotoko), Alfred Nelson (Liberty Professionals), Princebell Addico (Bechem Utd), Larweh Asama (Tema Youth) and Daniel Ayittey (Hearts of Oak) defenders.

The midfield is made up of Ashittey Ollenu and Thomas Abbey (Hearts of Oak), Michael Annan (Asante Kotoko), Frank Sarfo Gyamfi and Seidu Salifu (Wa All Stars), Benjamin Fadi (Heart of Lions), Emmanuel Nsah and John Arthur (Dwarfs), Derick Mensah (Tema Youth), Fatau Sasidu and Laud Ofosuhene (Inter Allies), Samsu Alidu (Shark FC), Mumuni Abubakar, Moro Issah and Jacob Asiedu Appau (New Edubaise), Patrick Twumasi (Red Bull) and Akwasi Adu (Bechem Utd).

The strikers are made up of: Tanko Issaka (Dwarfs), Charles Dowuona (Medeama), Nasiru Mohammed (Rainbow FC), Serlom Girado (Bechem Utd) and Tamimu Muntari (Mighty Jets).
