Mr. Alex Tettey-Enyo

Ms Comfort Doyoe Cudjoe Ghansah, has won the Ada Constituency primaries of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) by defeating the incumbent and former Minister of Education, Mr Alexander Tettey-Enyo on Saturday.

She obtained 149 votes of the valid ballots cast as against 114 votes acquired by Mr Tettey-Enyo whilst Mr Moses MacCarthy had 64 votes, according to figures released by the Electoral Commission after the polls.

The NDC is holding Parliamentary primaries in 18 Constituencies in the Greater Accra region with sitting Members of Parliament. The process was postponed last weekend to pave way for the party to address operational challenges.
