Ghana’s Olympic team made up of about 25 competitors, and 15 trainers and support staff is to use the city of Plymouth in UK as its training camp ahead of the 2012 London Games, reports the BBC January 16, 2012 citing city council officials.

According to the report, the city council said the team would use the “Life Centre, the Brickfields sports centre, the College of St Mark and St John, and the city’s YMCA.”

The city’s £46.5 million Life Centre is due to open in March, says the broadcaster.

Ghana is likely to compete in boxing, weight-lifting and athletics at the Games.
