22 Ghanaian referees receive FIFA badges

Twenty-two referees in Ghana including eight women have been presented with their FIFA badges, the football association says.

Assistant referee Ashitey Amarh and referee Delight Alorbu, according to the FA, are the new names on the list.

The badges were presented to the referees by the GFA boss Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi during a presentation ceremony at Prampram, January 10, 2012.

“You have to achieve the highest professional standard and help improve the game through your roles as referees,” the FA’s website quoted Mr Nyantakyi as saying.
