The Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service has mounted a search for a 29-year old driver who on December 30, 2011, absconded with his employer’s green Toyota Camry private car.
A statement issued by the Public Affairs Unit of the Tema Regional Police Command and signed by its Head, Chief Inspector Olivia Turkson, said at about 1130 hours on that day, Simon Kwame, the personal driver of Mr Lokesh-Pant, Managing Director of Viva Exim Ghana Limited, drove his boss for medical examination at Mid-Lab, at Community Six in Tema.
It said Kwame, a resident of Ashaiman, left the health facility without informing his master, and all efforts to trace him had proved futile.
