Ghana squad capable of winning Nations Cup – Coach Stevanovic
Black Stars coach, Goran Stevanovic, says the 25-man squad he has selected for the 2012 African Nations Cup are the best for the country and capable of winning the tournament.
Stevanovic also said the team, which will be pruned to 23 before the tournament, can fit into his tactical plans.
“The players I have called are the best who can fit into my tactical plans. They are capable of winning the cup for Ghana and I have enough faith in them,” Stevanovic told the Ghana FA’s website today December 15, 2011.
Ghana is in group D of the Nations Cup with Botswana, Guinea and Mali.
The tournament takes place in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea January-February 2012.
