PricewaterhouseCoopers to release analysis report on Ghana’s 2012 budget

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), a global professional services firm, will by Monday November 21, 2011 release its analysis report on Ghana’s 2012 budget statement, officials at the company have said.

The budget themed “Infrastructure Development for Accelerated Growth and Job Creation” is forecasting a more vibrant economy for the year 2012 which is also an election year. President Atta Mills faces main opposition leader Nana Akuffo-Addo of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

“We are working on the analysis and by Monday the report will be out,” Mr Felix Addo, Country Senior Partner at PwC told ghanabusinessnews.com on telephone today November 18, 2011.

Information gathered by ghanabusinessnews.com indicates that the PwC team working on the analysis started work on Thursday November 17, 2011 and has been meeting at the Fiesta Royale Hotel here in Accra.

According to officials, the analysis is to aid parliamentarians as they begin debates about the budget.
