Two hospitals and community to benefit from water projects

Mr Joe Osei-Wusu, Member of Parliament (MP) for Bekwai, has resolved to bolster the welfare of his constituents through the implementation of viable socio-economic projects.

This, he said, would be achieved through cooperation with Non-Governmental Organizations internally and abroad since the development of Bekwai required a shared responsibility.

He cited how through such collaborations the area had seen significant improvement in educational and health facilities, as well as infrastructural development to bring relief to the people.

Mr Osei-Wusu was interacting with journalists at Bekwai after inspecting some water projects in the Constituency at the weekend.

They include the construction of mechanized boreholes for the Wawase community as well as the Gyasikrom and Savior Community Health Centres.

The projects are being funded through the MP’s share of the National Health Insurance Scheme Fund at the cost of about GH¢30,000.

He was hopeful that the projects would most especially enhance healthcare delivery at all levels in the Constituency.

Mr Osei-Wusu thanked the people for their continuous support for him and stressed that the success of every MP depended on the cooperation of his people.
