MTN, the leading telecommunications company in Ghana, on Friday announced the appointment of two new executives.

An official statement named them as Mrs Cynthia Lumor, Corporate Service Executive, and Mr Eric Nsarkoh, General Manager of the newly created MTN Business Solutions.

Mrs Lumor replaces Mrs Mawuena Trebah, who resigned from the company last month.

Mrs Lumor will also serve as general counsel, responsible for all legal matters at MTN Ghana.

It said Mrs Lumor joins MTN Ghana from Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, where she was the Principal Legal Officer.

The statement said Mr Nsarkoh would be responsible for leading the team to deliver innovative, robust and cost effective enterprise services and solutions to large, medium sized and small businesses.

“Ultimately he will help strengthen MTN’s proposition for the Corporate Data Management space.”

Mr Nsarkoh has joined MTN Ghana from Airtel where he was the IT Director.

Prior to this, he worked in Senior Management roles in both the IT and commercial environment with Millicom International (TIGO), Discoverytel Ghana, Heineken International, British American Tobacco, KPMG and Price Water House Coopers.

The CEO of MTN Ghana, Mr Michael Ikpoki said: “MTN is happy to welcome these personalities to join MTN to complement the excellent staff we have and to support the business drive of the organisation in Ghana.”
