Oil and gas trainer praises Ghanaians’ love for education
A trainer in the oil and gas industry has showered praise on Ghanaians’ love for education and this in his view offers a huge opportunity for Lloyd’s Maritime Academy’s local partners Amitlaw Professional Development Centre (APDC).
Craig de Savoye, Business Development Manager, Corporate Training of Lloyd’s Maritime Academy and IBC Global Academy says in an exclusive interview with ghanabusinessnews.com that everyone he has met in Ghana has a strong love for education.
He cited the fact that Ghanaians strive to acquire Masters degrees both at home and abroad
APDC is a sister company of Amitlaw Consulting – experts in maritime law, petroleum commodities and international trade and Amitlaw Shipbrokerage Company Limited to provide training in maritime and oil and gas.
APDC is enrolling students for its internationally recognized hybrid Professional Diploma programmes in Oil and Gas, Shipping and Logistics. The training is a combination of online session provided by the Lloyd’s Maritime Academy (LMA) and the IBC Global Academy and classroom session to be provided by APDC.
de Savoye believes that the training offered by Lloyd’s through APDC will offer opportunities to Ghanaians and students from other parts of the continent to acquire the necessary skills to upscale themselves and get very good jobs in the maritime and oil and gas industries as well as networking opportunities.
