Sam Pee Yalley gets Confederation of African Tennis appointment

The Confederation of African Tennis (CAT) has appointed Sam Pee Yalley, Vice President of the Ghana Tennis Association (GTA) as president of its Legal Committee.

A statement from the CAT Secretariat in Tunis (Tunisia) copied to GNA Sports in Accra said Sam Pee Yalley will head the Committee for a two-year tenure from 2011 to 2013.

According to the continental body, the decision was taken at its meeting held on July 7 in Cairo, Egypt.

The appointment is in recognition of the Vice President’s contribution to the development of the sport in the country and the continent as a whole.

Other members of the Committee are Mehrez Boussayene (Tunisia), Patrick Gichira (Kenya), Johann Koorts (South Africa) and Georges N’Goan (Côte d’Ivoire).
