Nigerian telecommunications company, Globacom and world’s leading phone manufacturer, Nokia, have launched a unique bundle offer for Nokia handsets called the ‘Glo Mega Deals’ in Nigeria.

The Glo Mega Deal is an array of bundled benefits tailored to suit Nokia handsets and devices.

“The Glo/Nokia partnership ensures that there is a bundle offer available for different cadres of people…It encompasses a total of seven select Nokia handsets that offer the consumer different options and flexibility,” according to a statement from Glo with operations in Nigeria but yet to start operations in Ghana even though it has been given an operating license by Ghana’s National Communications Authority (NCA).

The bundle offer comes in three forms. These are Premium, Lite and the Classic plans.

The Glo Mega Deal is only available for new Glo customers who have been active from January 1, 2011 in Nigeria, the statement said.

In a related development, Globacom will soon launch a next-generation charging in Nigeria using the market-leading charging system offered by NASDAQ listed company Ericsson.

This will allow Globacom to have flexible pricing and discounting plans, and offer rich features to its prepaid subscribers, such as benefits from loyalty programmes.
