MTN, UT Life pay first mobile insurance premium

MTN Ghana and UT Life have paid the first benefit to a subscriber to the mobile insurance product ‘Mi-Life’.

Emelia Sena Adjei, who has been on the service for only a month, received a cheque of GH¢1,945 after submitting relevant documents for claims within 72 hours, says MTN in a statement July 14, 2011.

‘Mi-Life’ is a Mobile Insurance Service which provides cover in the event of death of the subscriber or his next of kin. Claims are paid within ten working days.

The service is provided by MTN and UT Life.
