Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Assembly implements more projects

The Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai District Assembly has within the past two years undertaken a number of development projects to better the lives of people in the area.

These include classrooms, markets, teachers’ accommodation and sanitation facilities.

Mr Joe Adansi-Bondah, District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area, said they were funded through the Districts share of the District Assemblies Common Fund, District Development Fund and the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund).

The DCE made this known when inaugurating some of the projects, including a Kindergarten at Mframakrom and a block of six classrooms at Fahiakobo.

Mr Adansi-Bondah said the assembly was determined to inject pace into the socio-economic development of the district.

He appealed to the people to take good care of the projects through regular maintenance.

They should also pay their taxes to the assembly to enable it to generate enough revenue to provide more projects.

I don’t know what the Leaders in this particular district are doing. Unemployment is rampant in that district and this leaders go around inaugurating KVIP, kindergarten blocks.
We have a lot of graduates in Bekwai township who are suffering to get job. MP’s and DCE go around misusing the funds for the people and investing little in infrastructural development. God save my people and surely there will be a time that they will be rescued from attitude of greedy leaders.

It is not even made clear to the people how much they get from the rich natural resource like Gold, timber raw materials etc and how much is spent in development. Leaders of this lucky district try to be transparent for a time will come when u will be sacked from this district because of greed.
    I rest my case.
Long Live the people of B.A.B, long live BAB, long live Ghana

A CONCERN NATIVE OF THE DISTRICT…..FROM BEKWAI.
