Media accreditation for Ghana-Nigeria Olympic qualifier opens

The National Sports Authority (NSA) would on Wednesday morning opened the media accreditation process for this weekend’s All Africa Games second leg qualifier between Ghana’s Black Meteors and their Nigerian counterparts.

The Meteors must try to overturn a 1-3 deficit suffered in the first leg in Benin City to beat the ‘Dream Team’ of Nigeria for the ticket to this year’s All Africa Games scheduled for Maputo.

The match has been fixed for Sunday, July 10 at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi.

According to the Public Relations Officer of the NSA, Mr Hamidu Issaka, all media organisations interested in covering the match must submit an official letter with names of the designated applicants as well as endorsed passport pictures to the Public Relations Directorate.

The statement said television stations are entitled to four persons, two slots for the print media and one for radio presenters or commentators.

Mr Issaka said Media personnel interested in accessing the inner perimeter must also possess their press identification, especially for photographers so as to ensure sanity at the media stands and the inner perimeter.
