Former youth members of the Ghana Evangelical Society, popularly called GES met for a historic re-union in Accra Saturday July 2, 2011, after some over 20 years apart.

The members who live in different parts of the country and other parts of the world were once members of the vibrant group within the ministry founded and still being led by Rev. Immanuel Enoch Agbozo, arguably one of Ghana’s most remarkable charismatic Christian leaders of all time.

The reunion which was at the instance of Frank Owusu-Mensah who currently lives in the United States was organised by Rev. Christopher Quaye, Pastor of Kingdom Living Ministry, Accra and Wisdom Tetteh now a businessman in Accra.

The re-union invoked memories of the past as some of the members shared their testimonies and experiences in life and how far they have come over the last 20 or more years since members of the tightly knit and dynamic youth ministry went their separate ways.

They sang, prayed and hugged each other as some were seeing others in over 20 years.

Out of this group emerged some ministers of the gospel like Dr. Sam Owusu, Rev. Emmanuel Ayedzi-Mensah, both of them currently in Canada, Rev. Justice Jiagge, Rev. Emmanuel Beecham also in the UK ans several others like Rev. Peter Tsagli of the Calvary Baptist Church.

More than 50 members came along, some with their spouses and children were at the re-union.

Another re-union has been scheduled for January 28, 2012. Members agreed that the meeting should be held more regularly.
