The Upper East Regional National Service Scheme (NSS) on Wednesday took delivery of six Yamaha motor bikes for distribution to six districts to support activities and monitoring of service personnel in remote areas.

The beneficiary districts are Bongo, Builsa, Bawku West, Garu Tempane, Kasenna Nankana East and West.

Mr. Paul Kant, Chief Director of the Upper East Regional Coordinating Council (RCC), appealed to those who would be using the bikes to observe road users’ instructions to avoid preventable accidents.

Mr. George Dassah Nangwenyelle, Regional Director NSS who received the motor bikes, appealed to the district directors to monitor service personnel and their activities.

Mr. Stephen Kwadan-Naab on behalf of the beneficiaries thanked government and management for the support and gave the assurance that the bikes would be put to good use to enhance their work.
