Tigo Ghana introduces Voice SMS

Tigo Ghana says it will on Friday May 27, 2011 introduce a new product called Tigo Voice SMS to its subscribers.

In an email to ghanabusinessnews.com, the mobile service provider said the product will allow its prepaid, post paid and hybrid subscribers to send voice messages. Subscribers, it says would be charged five Ghana pesewas for sending a message and retrieving a message will be charged at current call charges, it added.

According to Tigo Ghana, one significant feature of the product is that subscribers can send voice SMS to both subscribers on the Tigo network and all other networks.
