Kosmos Energy says it will list its common shares on the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE).

Tullow Oil, another major oil producer in Ghana has also expressed its intentions to list on the GSE.

“We intend to apply to list our common shares on the Ghana Stock Exchange”, Kosmos said in a filing to the US Securities and Exchange Commission to sell some of its shares on the world market adding “Shortly after the closing of this offering.”

However, the company says it does not know when the listing will be done or whether it would list at all.

“….although there can be no assurance that this listing will be completed in a timely manner, or at all”, Kosmos indicated.

  1. When this lies will stop and we keep hearing from these companies about listing on Ghana Stock Exchange yet they don’t know when. They already started taking the oil out of poor country, oil is not renewable so when are they going to list after the oil is finish.
So call Ghanaian leaders and security exchange will be sitting and looking at these companies getting the oil out the country without any benefit to poor Ghanaians. Our leaders are indeed useless anyways!!!

  2. I perfectly agree,i believe it is about time this companies list on the Ghana stock exchange so we all can benefit from our natural resources..Whatever we do we must be guided by the principle of putting Ghana first and i think we must make this companies comply with this guidance..
