NDC Central Regional Chairman cautions party faithful against loose talk

The Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Samuel Adu-Yeboah has appealed to supporters of the party to refrain from making unguarded statements which could damage the fortunes of the political entity.

He said disparaging remarks by some leading members of the NDC on national issues such as the court verdict on the murder of Ya-Na Yakubu Andani II, Overlord of Dagbon, the destruction of the Northern Regional Secretariat of the party in Tamale was like “cutting one’s nose to despise the face”.

Mr Adu-Yeboah cautioned the NDC to be careful in order not to “kill the hen that laid the golden eggs”.

He asked the leadership of the party to take immediate action to ban all splinter associations in the NDC to prevent them from becoming fertile grounds for “enemies” to infiltrate to cause havoc.

He urged the party to tighten its frontiers to avoid being taken aback.

Mr Adu-Yeboah asked those who held the view that President John Evans Atta Mills was not performing well in office to leave the judgement to Ghanaians to decide his fate in Election 2012.
