President Mills cuts sod for the tarring of Wa/Han road
President John Atta Mills on Tuesday cut a sod for the construction and tarring of a 30-kilometer stretch of the Wa-Han road at Naro in the Nadowli District.
The project will cost the government GH¢34 million.
P.W. Ghanem, a construction firm, is to execute the project and it will take two years to complete.
The stretch of the road will cover other communities such as Fian and Busie.
President Mills told the contractor to do good job on the road to benefit the people.
Mr. Wadih Ghanem, the Managing Director of the firm, assured the President of quality job delivery and also promised to complete work on schedule.
