The District Officer of the PBC, Mr Emmanuel Manukure, told the Ghana News Agency that the items served as incentive to boost the morals of the Purchasing Clerks to increase their purchases.
Mr Manukure said a farmer who sold over 20 bags of cocoa was entitled to the items that were supplied from the headquarters of the Company.
The items are a pair of Wellington Boots, toilet soap, Key soap, Anauna salt and exercise book note one, with the inscription, Produce Buying Company Limited for pupils.
Mr Manukure said the headquarters recognized the clerks’ efforts at helping to increase the District’s tonnage.
He advised them to always purchase thoroughly dried cocoa bans devoid of foreign materials.
