Ghana stocks dip on Fan Milk, ETI losses

The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark measure of performance of the Ghana Stock Exchange, fell 68.58 points to open the week lower at 7,218.65 points from 7,287.23 points on Friday.

The loss brings the gain so far this year to 29.54 per cent.

There were eight price changes- three gainers and five losers.

Total Petroleum (TOTAL) went up GH¢0.14 at GH¢9.76, Cocoa Processing Company (CPC) gained GH¢0.01 to GH¢0.03 and Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) jumped GH¢0.20 at GH¢2.60.

On the flip side, Fan Milk Ghana Limited (FML) was down GH¢0.19 at GH¢2.58, UT Bank dipped GH¢0.02 at GH¢0.27 and Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI) was lower GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.15

The rest are Aluworks Limited (ALW), which fell GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.11 and Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL) down GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.25.

A total of 385,749 shares were traded, valued at GH¢509,291.34.

Market Capitalisation was marginally lower at GH¢20,166.04 million down from GH¢20,230.84 million at the previous close.
