Energy Foundation organises seminar on oil and gas

Mr Edwin Vanotoo, Chief Executive Officer of Vanotoo International Limited (VIL), on Monday advised managements of oil and gas companies to maintain high standard of professional principles in
the industry to acquire more contracts to create jobs in the country.

He asked them to improve their human resource capacity and negotiation skills to in order to compete with foreign companies that had interests in the industry.

Mr Vanotoo gave the advice at a two-day Oil and Gas Training Seminar jointly organised by Energy Foundation (EF) and Vanotoo International Limited (VIL) in Accra.

It was on the theme: “Capacity Development for Oil and Gas Service Providers”.

He advised the participants to keep proper records of their operations, proper networking and management of their time and other resources.

Mr Edward Prah, Director of Greater Heights Consulting Company, advised the participants to be abreast of new developments in the industry, effective leadership and good relationship with their employees for better achievements.
