The police officers are from the Volta, Eastern, Tema, Central and the Greater Accra Regions.
The Course is designed to equipped personnel to enable them to pass with ease the UN SAT examination required from future officers at UN Peacekeeping Missions.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCOP), Ransford M. Ninson, Eastern Regional Commander, noted that the UN SAT examination had been a worry to most personnel, who wanted to serve in international Peacekeeping Missions due to the stressful nature of the examination process.
He said the number required by the UN Team was very limited and many personnel did not get enough time to adequately prepare towards the examination.
DCOP Ninson said it was the hope of every personnel to serve in a UN Mission once in his of her life time to enhance his or her Curriculum Vitae (CV), and also for the pecuniary benefits to himself and the nation as a whole.
DCOP Ninson said it was against that background that the present Police Administration had thought it wise to conduct the Pre-SAT training course.
He, therefore, urged all participants to take the training programme serious to be able to pass all UN SAT Tests to be conducted and to bring honour to the Police Administration.
DCOP Ninson on behalf of the Police Administration and the Government expressed his sincere gratitude to the German Government for supporting the programme to enable many personnel to quality to serve with the UN.
