Ghana stocks fall slightly

The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) All-Share Index, the main market indicator, dropped slightly by 1.22 points from 6,455.23 points to 6,454.01 points during Tuesday’s trading on the Accra bourse.

The Change Year to Date also dropped to 15.82, from 15.84 recorded during previous session.

Traded volume closed the session at 103,436 shares valued at GH¢80,855.16. Shares of 11 equities were sold.

On the broader market, there were four price changes, three positives and a negative. Ecobank Ghana Limited (EBG) went up by GH¢0.03 to close trading at GH¢2.88 while Cal Bank Limited (CAL) and UT Bank Limited (UTB) appreciated by GH¢0.01 each to close trading at GH¢0.26 and GH¢0.26, respectively.

Ghana Commercial Bank Limited (GCB) lost GH¢0.05 to close trading at GH¢1.85.

Market Capitalisation was GH¢18,304.83 million from 17.48 million issued shares.
