Tigo outdoors “Talk for Free” service

The management of Millicom Ghana Limited, operators of Tigo cellular network, on Tuesday launched a new innovative service christened “Tigo Talk for Free”.

The product that has an accompanying message: “Make A Call Today and Save” seeks to make the service affordable, available as well as accessible to its loyal customers.

Ms. Rose Fynn, Deputy Head of Marketing, Tigo, said at the launching in Accra that introduction of the service was inspired by the “consumer insight” that subscribers, would love to talk for longer duration but could not afford.

She explained that with the new product, Tigo would give its subscribers more value for money by letting them pay for only the first three minutes of their calls while Tigo paid for the rest.

According to her, the objective for the new service was to increase subscriber base of the network as well as to enhance the Tigo brand.
