Losses by Fan Milk, SG-SSB, GCB dip Ghana stocks

Losses by Fan Milk Limited (FML), SG-SSB Limited and Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) during trading on the Accra Bourse on Wednesday dipped the GSE All-Share Index, the main market indicator, by 17.22 points to close at 6,528.28 points from Tuesday’s 6,545.50 points.

The change year to date was 17.16 points down from 17.46 points during the previous trading.

Total shares traded was 184,674 valued at GH¢76,936.25. SIC Insurance Limited led the pack with trading in 116,300 shares valued at GH¢38,391.00. It was followed by Ecobank Transnational Incorporated with 20,600 shares valued at GH¢3,090.00 and CAL Bank Limited with 15,500 shares valued at GH¢4,340.00 traded. Shares of seven equities were also traded.

On the broader market, SG-SSB lost GH¢0.03 to close at GH¢0.56; FML lost GH¢ 0.03 to close trading at GH¢7.76 while GCB lost GH¢0.01 to end trading at GH¢1.56.

There are 17.48 million issued shares and Market Capitalization of GH¢18,191.30 million.
