Ghana stocks fall to reverse gains

The Monday trading on the Accra Bourse saw the GSE All-Share Index, the main market indicator, gaining 14.74 points to close at 6,558.68 points from Friday’s close of 6,543.94 points. The change year to date was 17.70 points.

Total shares traded was 142,600 valued at GH¢32,778.00. Cocoa Processing Company led the pack with 69,500 traded shares valued at GH¢1,390.00 while SIC Insurance Company followed with 34,500 shares valued at GH¢11,385.00.

On the broader market, there were two positive price changes. Benso Oil Palm Plantations gained GH¢ 0.01 to close trading at GH¢0.74 while the share price of Cocoa Processing Company also went up by GH¢0.01 to close GH¢0.02.

There are 17.48 million issued shares and Market Capitalization of GH¢18,214.72 million.
