Ghana stocks fall as seven equities dip

The GSE All-Share Index, the main measure of performance on the Ghana Stock Exchange, fell 47.16 points to close the week at 6,543.94 points.

Total volumes closed the session at 242,463 shares valued at GH¢207,883.81.

On the broader market, there were eight price changes – a positive and seven negatives.

The sole gainer was Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL), which went up GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.25.

The losers were Aluworks Limited (ALW) down GH¢0.06 at GH¢0.34, Cocoa Processing Company (CPC) lower by GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.01, Ecobank Ghana Limited (EBG) fell GH¢0.04 at GH¢3.30 and Enterprise Insurance Company (EIC) dropped GH¢0.02 at GH¢1.67.

Other stragglers were Fan Milk Limited (FML) down GH¢0.01 at GH¢7.79, Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) down GH¢0.02 at GH¢1.60 and SG-SSB Bank lower GH¢0.02 at GH¢0.60.

Market Capitalization closed the session week down at GH¢18,203.36 million.
