MTN wishes Ghana Black Stars success against Uruguay

MTN, the leading telecommunications provider in Africa has sent a goodwill message to the National team, the Black Stars as the team plays Uruguay in the quarter-finals of the ongoing 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

In an emailed message copied to ghanabusinessnews.com MTN says it wishes the Black Stars of Ghana resounding success in their quarter-final crucial match on Friday July 2, 2010 in South Africa.

“This is a match that Africa and the world are watching because of Ghana’s success at the initial stage of the beautiful game and the respect the country now commands across the world in football,” it said.

MTN believes that Friday’s encounter, will be an exciting match in the making of another historic achievement for Ghana, and the world is sure to see a fantastic display of football stars, football mastery and a passion to succeed.

The telecom provider urges the Black Stars to go into the tournament with a ‘Can-Do spirit’ that enables them to rise above all obstacles that stand in their way, and aim at winning the trophy.

MTN is the official telecommunications sponsor of the first FIFA World Cup tournament in Africa.
