Company in Ghana launches E-Commerce

Mr. Joseph Sampa, Public Relations Officer of the Finish Line Group, a multinational company, based in Ghana, said the company was committed to contributing to national development.

He said the company would supply logistics for the emerging oil and gas industry in Ghana.

Mr. Sampa who said these at the launch of the company’s E-Commerce and free delivery of merchandise service on the theme: “Click and Buy”, in Accra on Saturday, explained that the facility would give buyers the opportunity to shop online without stress through the Click of a mouse.

He said buyers could also buy through a phone call and all the items ordered would be delivered at the door step free of charge.

Mr. Sampa said “We supply petroleum products and safety equipment to corporate institutions upon request” and that buyers on government pay roll would pay at the end of the month through cheque.

Mr. Philip Kwame Brobbey, Chief Executive officer of Finish Line Group, said that the company, which has offices in Osu, La, East Legon and Takoradi, supplies products to banks and other corporate institutions.

Reverend Mrs. Rita Korankye Ankrah of the Royal House Chapel, who launched the service, commended the group for the initiative, saying it is a mark of good entrepreneurship.

She called on the youth to initiate their own businesses.
