Ghana stocks make marginal gain

The GSE All-Share Index, the benchmark index rose 3.47 points at 5,708.01 points, on the back of gains in Ecobank Ghana Limited.

The rise brings the year to date gain to 2.43 per cent.

On the broader market, there were three price changes-two positive and a negative.

Ecobank (EBG) gained GH¢0.01 at GH¢3.32 and TOTAL was up GH¢0.01 at GH¢7.01.

GOIL, the sole loser for the session, fell by GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.20.

Traded volumes dropped nearly ten-times to 83,335 shares from 827,658 shares on Wednesday.

Market capitalisation closed the session higher at GH¢16,108.90 million from GH¢16,106.26 million.
