Ghana stocks inch up

The GSE All-Share Index inched up by 0.72 points in trading on Thursday to 5,634.34 points.

The rise in the index brings the year to date gain to 1.11 per cent.

On the broader market, there were two price movements – a positive and negative.

Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB) gained GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.80 while UT Financial Services shed GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.24.

Traded volumes were up to 900,069 shares up from 549,698 shares at the previous close on Wednesday.

Market capitalisation closed the session up at GH¢15,992.95 million from GH¢15,992.41 million.
