Management of HFC Bank Ghana Limited (HFCBGL), is to roll out a five-year strategic programme aimed at injecting efficiency in its diversified financial services within the West African region and beyond.

Mr Asare Akuffo, Managing Director of HFCBGL, announced this on Tuesday at the inauguration of the Bank’s 21st branch in Accra.

He noted that Adabraka, where the branch is sited, was a vibrant business district with significant concentration of commercial establishments which presented opportunities for the Bank to thrive and expressed the hope that the branch would provide “one-stop shop” financial services for customers.

“I enjoin all businesses, professionals and individuals in an around Adabraka as well as the Kwame Nkrumah circle area to come and experience our unique banking services here at the Adabraka branch,” he said.

Ms. Elizabeth Nyarko, Adabraka Branch Manager, said HFC Bank had different financial products with attractive investment components that were unique in the Ghanaian banking industry.

She said that though HFC had transformed from the Home Financial Company to a bank, the core business of the bank remained that of providing mortgage services to clients with subsidiary financial services in areas including microfinance, especially in the informal sector of the economy.
