Ecobank to open China desk in Africa offices

Ecobank Transnational Inc. (ETI) has signed an agreement with the Bank of China to open what it calls a “China desk” in the banks offices in Africa.

A Reuters report citing a statement that Ecobank had written to the Ghana Stock Exchange said Ecobank will under the agreement host Bank of China staff in its offices to assist the Chinese bank’s customers in Africa. Ecobank has subsidiaries in 30 countries across Africa.
