Ghana’s position as a focus point for discussions on issues regarding alternative energy sources has been further strengthened by the fact that another major global conference on bioenergy will be held in Ghana.

The global economic, food and energy crisis make this conference the more relevant, particularly when there are issues with competition between biofuels and food cultivation.
A conference of this nature should obviously provide deep insights into the issues and most probably some answers.
