Bongo chief pledges to give land to investors

The Paramount Chief of the Bongo Traditional Area, Naba Baba Salifu Aleemyaarum, has said his traditional council was prepared to give out land to genuine investors who would want to do business in the area.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency in Bongo he said the traditional council would soon release land to Readwide Limited and its development team made up of Youth Icon Ghana and a musician, Bice Osei Kuffour, popularly known as Obour, to build a library complex in the Bongo District.

Naba Baba Salifu Aleemyaarum appealed to investors and others who want to explore the area to undertake development programmes that would benefit the district not to hesitate to consult the traditional council, adding that Bongo was a peaceful area and suitable for development.

He said as chiefs it was their civic responsibility to contribute their quota to national development by collaborating   with the government to bring about development.

Naba Baba Salifu Aleemeyaarum commended the Readwide Limited and its team for their intention to build a library complex in Bongo District for school children.
