Accra to get another private university

Leaders Factory Group (LFG), a leadership development training institute, is putting up a modern university complex in Accra, which would focus on mentoring leaders, raising statesmen and also making disciples.

The university, which would be known as University College of Governance and Leadership, would begin operation in the first quarter of next year.

Reverend Gideon Titi-Ofei, Group Chief Executive of LFG, announced this when the institute graduated 80 pastors from the institute in Accra on Saturday.

He said plans were far advanced to secure accreditation, which would enable the university to run the Graduate School of Government and the Graduate School of Business programmes.

Rev. Titi-Ofei said the university would run courses such as Human Resource, Business and Credit Risk Management.

The Group Chief Executive urged the graduating students to be addicted to the word of God and win more souls for Christ.

He also advised them to always preach the truth which he said would take them to greater heights.

On the issue of ‘Sakawa’ (Internet fraud) which had bedeviled the nation, Rev. Titi-Ofei blamed parents for neglecting their parental duties and responsibilities.

He, therefore, appealed to parents, pastors and political leaders to help fight the canker, which he said if not eradicated early, would ruin the nation of her future leaders.
