Ghana goes to sports business summit

Ghana will participate in this year’s Sports Business Summit in Munich, Germany.

The two-day event takes place on February 2 to 3, 2009.

The event would be attended by 1500 participants and there would be 180 speakers  from Germany and other parts of the world. The speakers at the event would address participants in 17 specialised fora.

The group of Ghanaian participants in the event is being facilitated by a non-governmental organization, Face Africa.

The Ghanaian team is due to leave for Munich on January 30, 2009. According to a statement from Face Africa, “ The Ghanaian team will have an exhibition stand where they will showcase  Ghana and its products at the only Business Sports Summit to the outside world.”

The statement quoted the Vice President of Eurosport  Group, Jacques K. Raynaud as saying that “ISPO SpoBis is the communication platform for all the decision makers in the sports business. That’s why this conference has become the most important meeting point for the sector.”
