Sakyi turns down Newcastle Jets

Newcastle Jets have failed to clinch agreement with former Ghana international Moses Sakyi.

The Jets had hoped to secure 27-year-old striker on loan from Portuguese club SC Olhanense but talks broke down over a transfer fee.

The Jets are expected to now turn their search to the local market where Eugene Dadi (Perth) and Saso Petrovski (Central Coast) head the list of front men off contract, says the Newcastle Herald.
