iBurst Africa on Thursday announced that it has successfully completed work on its base station expansion and optimization programme to enhance coverage in all parts of the city of Accra and the Tema metropolis.
A release issued in Accra and signed by the Management of the company said through the successful completion of the recent base station expansion and optimization programme, iBurst Africa has been able to eliminate previous blind spots within the metropolis. This means that parts of Accra and Tema, which previously received no signal and other areas which had sub-optimal capacity now have full coverage.
“From the east of the Spintex Road to the west of Accra, iBurst Africa users can attest to an increase in service quality levels therefore enabling a fast, reliable and uninterrupted internet experience,” the statement said.
Recently deployed equipment is allowing for improved signal reception and, as a result, better service levels in Labone, Osu, Cantonments and surrounding areas. Similarly, improved technology has also enabled superior and uninterrupted internet access in the environs of Airport Residential Area and beyond.
