Gov’t pharmacists embark on work-to-rule strike

drugs-2Government and Hospital Pharmacists Association (GHOSPA), have since March 22 embarked on a work-to-rule industrial action to press home their demand for fair, equitable and just resolution of their migration to the Single Spine Salary Structure.

A statement issued by Mr Stephen Corquaye, Chairman of GHOSPA said in spite of the meetings, assurances and engagements with stakeholders on the issue, nothing has been done about the “baseless and unfair” market premium the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission has “arbitrarily imposed” on imposed on members of GHOSPA since October 11, even though National Labour Commission has ruled in favour of the Association on the issue.

It said this has gravely demoralised members of the Association.

The statement said the work-to-rule would continue till April 7

    according to the new constitution,it’s only Tsc which remained in the c

    entral government .the medical staff were devolved due their division this might impact negatively. let’s be one for they good of all of us. paramedic.
