Ghanaian man arrested in India with cocaine

A Ghanaian man has been arrested in India for carrying cocaine, the Indian media has reported.

32-year-old Paul Dika Acquah, the reports say was arrested at the Indira Gandhi International Airport Friday January 20, 2011 carrying 200 grams of cocaine with a market value of around two million rupees or approximately over $40,000.

Adika, according to the reports was arrested at the airport parking soon after he arrived from Mumbai on an Air India flight.

The reports quoted Sanjay Bhatia, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime), As saying, “The cocaine was concealed in two polythene packets and was kept in the sole of his shoe.”
