Three persons fined for spilling concrete on road

Tahiru Faisal, driver of a Ford Concrete Pump Truck, and two other accomplices identified as supervisors, have been convicted for spilling concrete on the Abavana Junction road along the Pig Farm-Circle stretch in Accra.

A news brief from the police said the suspects were arrested on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 and convicted to fines totaling GH¢3,600.00.

The first accused, Tahiru Faisal, the driver of the Truck with registration number GN 8042-20, was fined GHc2,400.00, and the second accused, Emmanuel Sogah-Burns, an Engineer and a Supervisor at Sobtech Engineering Consultancy, was fined GH¢600.00.

Stephen Donkor, the third accused, was also fined GH¢600.00.

The police advised motorists to abide by road safety regulations always as anybody found culpable would be prosecuted.
