An Accra Circuit Court has remanded into Police custody, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, Head Pastor of Glorious Word Ministries International, and four others.

Rev. Owusu Bempah is facing charges of offensive conduct and threat of death.

He is accused of threatening to kill Patricia Owusu Oduro Koranteng, aka, Agradaa.

The four other accused persons are: Mensah Ofori, Michael Boateng, Frederick Ohene and Nathaniel Agyekum, who are also facing charges of offensive conduct to the breach of peace and assault on public officers.

The five accused persons have denied the charges.

One other person is said to be at large.

The Court, presided over by Mrs Afia Owusuaa Appiah, held that in view of the fact that the accused persons were arrested on Sunday, it would be prudent to remand them for further investigation.
