I have resigned from TV3 – Nana Aba Anamoah
Nana Aba Anamoah has confirmed her resignation from TV3 on Twitter. Earlier media reports about her resignation from the TV station that had suspended her for misconducting herself on Twitter cited a close friend as the source.
But in a Twitter chat Monday November 1, 2015 with Francis Doku, an entertainment writer and communications entrepreneur, Nana Aba confirmed that indeed, she has resigned from the TV station.
Asked if she has resigned, she answered, “Yes I have. I’ll always love TV3.”

The TV3 anchor was suspended early Ocotber 2015, ‘until further notice’ by the employers over what she describes as a Twitter ‘prank’. She Tweeted a photo showing her at Old Trafford. However, she wasn’t at the stadium, her image was photoshopped into the original image, which she claimed was sent to her by the owner of the photo.
The matter degenerated on Twitter, as she was ridiculed on social media. The Management of TV3 said it felt embarrassed by the action and subsequently suspended her after a disciplinary committee was set to look into the matter.
Asked where she would be heading next, she declined an answer.
