The Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) is distributing Cocoa High-Tech fertilizers to the country’s cocoa farmers, the Board has said in a press release issued Thursday April 22, 2010 and signed by the Chief Executive.

The release which was copied to ghanabusinessnews.com says the Board is offering the fertilizer to the farmers at a subsidized price of Gh¢25 per bag instead of the Gh¢57 average price.

The Boards aim is to improve the yield of cocoa farms and enhance the incomes of the country’s farmers, the release added.
